Blackwood Recreation Centre will close at midnight on Monday 16th November 2020 and remain shut for up to 2 weeks until or until advised otherwise by the State Government.
The closure is a government requirement, and is part of measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The decision was made on Monday 16th November 2020 at 3:00pm by the State Government.
These new rules apply to all indoor Sport, Recreation and Fitness centres in South Australia.
The health and wellbeing of our members and staff is always our top priority. Although we will not be open to the public for up to two weeks we’ll be using our Facebook and Instagram pages to stay connected with you and help you reach your fitness goals.
We understand this is a worrying time and many of you will be concerned and disappointed. But please try to view this as an important and positive step to help us stop the spread of COVID-19.
If you are feeling anxious or isolated as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, please visit SA Health’s website for advice about mental health.
We will continue to keep you updated about the Centre during this closure.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
