Learning Through Play!

KinderGym is a fundamental movement program for children 6 months to 5 years aimed at developing your child physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally.

KinderGym works through fortnightly set ups with each activity designed to develop your child through play and activities. There is a termly theme in KinderGym that gives opportunity for fun and exciting set ups. We explore a range of themes including At The Circus, Fun on the Farm, Places to Live and so many more!

BabyGym

6 months – 24 months

Wednesday – 10:45am

BabyGym facilitates your child to learn to move and move to learn in a fun, safe and supportive environment. You and your baby will have the opportunity to progress your child’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional development at their own pace, while providing quality time between caregiver and child. BabyGym classes are designed with non walkers in mind. Equipment is lower to the group and more stationary and sensory activities are available for those not yet walking.

KinderGym

1 – 3 year olds

Tuesday – 9:15am & 10:30am

Thursday – 9:15am & 10:30am

KinderGym is offered for children aged one to three years with a philosophy of learning through play. The class starts with group time where children and grown ups will get with a warm up song and dance before heading into free play and finishing with some songs, stickers and a stamp! Free play is full of guided discovery activities that are aimed at specific development for your child – helping them learn through play!

KinderGym Plus

3 years – 5 years

Tuesday – 11:45am

Thursday – 11:45am

An extension of KinderGym, KinderGym Plus has a stronger focus on developing skills to help prepare children for education pathways. Classes run similar to our KinderGym session with group time at the beginning before moving onto free play. Participants are then called over for a lead activity to help develop their skill further. In this time we focus on listening, developing language skills, taking turns, following instructions and further fine and gross motor skill development.
